Postby AJG » Sat Jul 18, 2009 4:49 pm

This Sunday (actually 5am Mon Morning SA time), Stars are running a $1 buyin, $100K GTD MTT... Going for the world record largest field, as I write this post there are already 21,715 registered!
Check here for more...
Stars already holds this record at 35,000 and are looking to surpass...

But do they really need Satellites to a $1 buyin???
And, OMG... no entry fee!

They are doing it in response to Full Tilt who have announced for their 5th birthday the same goal (which is this W/E also).

Sunday night, Monday morning, Full Tilt have a $5 tournament (no buy-in charge) and Guaranteed the prize pool @ 250K and just cause it's their birthday, added another 250K just for shit's and giggles... the event is capped at 50,000 entrants and unless they hit that 50,000 figure there will be an overlay of the prize pool.

I registered last night and there were around 30,000 already signed up and 1st place is sitting at 40K (which obviously won't change).
