FT are doing the same thing except with a 5 dollar buy in. 32535 registered so far.

They are doing it in response to Full Tilt who have announced for their 5th birthday the same goal (which is this W/E also).
Sunday night, Monday morning, Full Tilt have a $5 tournament (no buy-in charge) and Guaranteed the prize pool @ 250K and just cause it's their birthday, added another 250K just for shit's and giggles... the event is capped at 50,000 entrants and unless they hit that 50,000 figure there will be an overlay of the prize pool.
I registered last night and there were around 30,000 already signed up and 1st place is sitting at 40K (which obviously won't change).

1st place is now 45K, but why the change? prizepool is still $500K
