Hi Guys,
I appreciate the fact that everyone is debating on this so much, but I sat down tonight and using the admin tool and a fair bit of excel spreadsheets and cutting and pasting I thought you would all like to know that out of ALL the players on the State Leaderboard there are only 7 players who are not in the top 5 of a venue. That's seven players people out of all of that leaderboard.
The majority of our top ten on the State leaderboard are currently sitting 1st or 2nd in at least one venue.
I think this is fairly definitive that even though the top 50 is skewed more towards those that can afford the time and money to play several games per week it is still indicative of players who achieve a placing fairly consistently.
If the top 5 in a venue is to be the judge of what we classify as a good player then I think we are not far off the mark in saying that even though the State Leaderboard is not a "true" representation of the best poker players within the NPL it still contains 99% of players which we classify as good players.
Agreed?
