There is only one question under the lid of a fourex, and that would be "WHY THE F$%K DID YOU BUY THIS CARP?"

Can't stand it! Mind you, Coopers does tend to spoil you for most other beers.

There's only one answer...

'Because it was that or VB'
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Think of it this way - you can't get aces cracked if you ALWAYS fold them pre-flop. Problem solved. I guess the check fold play that Des mentioned comes into play if you are BB in an unraised pot ;)

Really though. You always love seeing AA. And the number of ppl that complain about it being a crud or 'disappointing' hand. Zif. U know u love it.

Aces are the best starting hand you can have.

How can you NOT want that?

Oh, that's right, because you can't play them.

It's called a starting hand because it's your hand at the START. Then it changes.

The problem with people with Aces is that they think they SHOULD win every hand. When, really - they have ONE PAIR and that's it.

People need to learn to re-evaluate the strength of their hand after the flop, turn and river.

"Hmm interesting flop, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm, turn is another diamond, that's three, and the board has paired, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm river is another diamond, and I don't have one, BUT I DO HAVE ACES SO I CALL"

Sorry, I'm tired.

On a board of A, K, Q, 10 I laid down a flopped set of Aces (on the turn).

Do I get a medal David?

When you fold quads, I'll hand the medal over myself ;)

Plenty of times I've folded quads... Pre-flop though.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
