Think of it this way - you can't get aces cracked if you ALWAYS fold them pre-flop. Problem solved. I guess the check fold play that Des mentioned comes into play if you are BB in an unraised pot

Aces are the best starting hand you can have.

How can you NOT want that?

Oh, that's right, because you can't play them.

It's called a starting hand because it's your hand at the START. Then it changes.

The problem with people with Aces is that they think they SHOULD win every hand. When, really - they have ONE PAIR and that's it.

People need to learn to re-evaluate the strength of their hand after the flop, turn and river.

"Hmm interesting flop, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm, turn is another diamond, that's three, and the board has paired, BUT I HAVE ACES I CALL"
"Hmm river is another diamond, and I don't have one, BUT I DO HAVE ACES SO I CALL"
