There is just no incentive to spend in that area, as it does not increase numbers at the venue, attract greater numbers or retain players. But there will be a bonus for all venue winners as next season's state finals.
Interested to hear more about the incentive of finishing 1st at a venue next season.
Perhaps NPL could encourage venues to provide "end of season" prizes to reward people who come week in week out.
