sick 888pl upswing over the last 2 weeks, so i am thinking i will prolly play all of these tourneys.

could be 6 tabling when it gets busy, should be fun.

goals - shipping myself another gf ticket somehow or another, and a bracelet.

was disappointed with my online champs main event last time, wanna run really deep this time.

can we confirm whether the heads up champs event will be run as a true heads up tourney, or will it me a "2max" tournament as it is currently run. (it might have changed already, not sure haven't played any heads up recently)

either way i will prolly still play in it

who won the bracelets last year? be good to know who i am gunning for :D

i know that mike won the high rollers and aaron won the 6max, but i can't remember who shipped the main event.

how many other tourneys were there last year?

there are 5 events in the online champs.

anyone wanna lay me 10-1 on winning a bracelet? what odds do you think are fair.

A true heads up tournament is in SHoot out format.

I do not believe this HU tournament will be in a shoot out format so will be a 2MAX tourney.

thanks for this garth. wont stop me playing it.

i suppose there will be an announcement soon on who the hosts are for each tourney and the prizes for knocking them out? some say grand final ticket, but some say "bonus prize"

Pretty sure mitchymitch won last years main event for an Aussie millions package.

I think i will also play nearly all of those events, besides perhaps the regular $8.80 PLO game and maybe the GF ticket one. I can.t really afford to get to melbourne for the GF this time.

But yeah thats still 9 events which is great. I even have the weekend off writing for the paper so i can leave footy early to get home for the early events. I too plan on shipping myself a bracelet at this years OC.

Im pretty sure i got third in one of the events last year (wasn't the ME, i think it was the 6-max that AK won) and plan on going one better to get a shiny bracelet this year. Krunchie has had bragging rights over me for too long now :D

you guys should know by now that i get hard over a guaranteed tourney, but i just worked out that there is $8750 in guarantees on offer this saturday, including the two TC challenges.

this is for $194 in buyins.

for those that dont have a huge bankroll, there are satellites running for the $30 main event for only $2(rebuy) and $3 (freezeout). great chance to turn $3 into $1500 which will be around the mark for the main event win.

thats right. haven't seen mitch on here for a while, i wonder whether he will be back to defend his title

the PLO event should be the one with the fewest runners, which will probably make it the best shot for a bracelet.

but if the murrins all play as well as bretty hosting it, it will be a pretty stacked tourney. dont really like my chances against those guys. in the regular 8.80 game in the last 2 weeks, i managed to win the first week, but last week i got exposed pretty badly by brett and dave, who crushed me. gonna have to bring my plo a game and get smacked by the deck, but hey, thats been happening over the last few weeks, so i hope the rungood continues.

NPL no longer exists.

Yeah i will certainly play the online champs PLO event, might give the regular one a miss depending on how many other tables im playing at the time.
