i would bet money that the new poker software has synchronised breaks

it is pretty much industry standard these days

I just hope it doesn't become biased towards the elite few that can afford to play all the time. By the same token we have the chance to establish a good competition for Aussie players to call their own but it seems it could become elitist very quickly.

Seeing as there is only 3 freerolls a day + & me not being rich a few more $ 1 / 2 * games would be nice . throughout the Day
long time online player & even longer live player .

Garth ( maybe 1 or 2 of * them could be a 3x or 5x ?) For those of us , with less cash . :(

These look good to me, will return to playing with this structure as there's a point to playing as opposed to the $1/2 games with a pot of <$20.

Is it possible to have a seperate online leaderboard with some incentive to reward consistency in these bigger tourneys? (I know that point multipliers are nice, but don't really help those of us that live 1hr+ away from the bigger away venues so arn't in DT contention).

Cheers
Nick

I like most of the tourney set up.
My only thought is the $20 tourney blinds are a bit large for a 10.30pm start. Most people are unlikely to play every night if have work the next day.

I realise start time is probably so people can play venue as well as online, but maybe an idea to instead start earlier but have on alternating days, so venues are not effected each week.

I am soooooo looking forward to Season 3.

Instead of going to the pub at least 4 nights a week & paying $6- for a beer, I can come home and crack a $2-beer and play online. I figure even with playing a $20- online game every night, I should have an extra $100 bucks in my pocket each week.

Plus I will be nice & warm during these chilly winter nights in my tracky dacks and ugg boots & my “virtual friends” online won’t see me.

Cheap beers, comfy surroundings and 20x point multipler. I may never leave the house again. AWESOME!
I always take life with a grain of salt, plus a slice of lemon, and a shot of tequila!

I think if people adopt this attitude then away venues will see a big decline in players. I think with the season 2 small buy ins and money on offer, then is no real finanical incentive to stay at home rather than attend a venue.
With buy-ins that work out cheaper than a night at a venue and with a large guaranteed reward, more players will stay at home I feel. Unsure if this is the road 888pl wish to take.

how many games do you play a week sunbury?

myself, i only play 1 a week. i will continue to play 1 a week regardless of what happens in the online games.

from my personal experience, players that play 5 times a week are rare these days, although lisa (redheadsrock) is prolly one of these players.

but in total, 10% of all players would do this.

so you might see a small drop in numbers, but not massively i dont think.

the same argument was used when the online component was first introduced, and i dont think it had that big of an impact
