APPLE is preparing to unveil the latest version of the iPhone tonight in the US, confident that fans are still keen to buy yet another device, despite the recent launch of the iPad.
Apple chief executive Steve Jobs is expected to announce that the fourth generation of the gadget, which has had more than 50 million sales in three years, has two cameras -- one front-facing to allow video chatting, and an improved rear-facing camera with a flash and larger lens.
The device is also expected to have an improved touchscreen, a less rounded design, while being smaller but heavier.
It is tipped to have a battery 16 per cent bigger and that lasts longer, along with a new fast microprocessor.
