yeasterday my aces got cracked when someone called my raise with 53 and flopped 2 pair.

do i want this person calling raises with 53? of course i do!! i was actually talking to this guy after, and he was a really nice guy. he said that he just plays for fun, likes to gamble it up a bit, and it doesn't really bother him if its not the technically correct play. now how can you argue with that?


learn to love the bad play of others. sure, you will lose some of the time, but the 80% of the time they bleed of their chips, you need to take advantage of them.

berating someone does 2 things.

1. makes you look like a tool
2. if they actually take your advice and get better, then this is worse for you, not better.

And to win a tourney, you have to get lucky a few times.

i dont think i have told this to anyone before, but i hit a 1 outer when we were 6 handed at the state finals, and i went on to win it...

Yep. Ben and David you are both right if people didn't play bad and everyone played optimally there would be no winners. It's just a matter of exploiting bad play.

Ben, we had a chat during and after that game and I agreed with everything you have to say. Not tapping at the glass is something I need to learn and is part of improving my game.

its definitely tough sometimes trishan, especially if you are running bad. 2 years or so ago, i would always tell people how bad they played, but it just doens't help anyone

got heads up with maccatak my bro, asked him for a chip chop when he was 55k i was 35k, blinds were like 2k/4k, he declined, so i went on and won the tourney

sitting 3rd in the DEEEEEEEEP stack at the moment

finished 8th in the GF event though, shoved my 12bb stack into about 4 limpers with AQ, one of them had AK and that was me done.

i got second to benny the cunt in the $11, shipped the $3 online champs main event satellite, then me and benny the cunt got heads up again for the $16 game, and i got him back this time, but only after we chopped some of it with steve (studman65) who finished third.
