Ok must have been a TV thing, as they never displayed an ante (that i saw) on the screen when showing the blinds until the 2nd level played on the FT.
I couldnt beleive that they would have just started then...

Actually I am pretty adept on google, just picked the wrong term not 'structure'
maybe: 'WSOP main event structure filetype:pdf site:wsop.com' ?
Then its link #1 :) and some other great info even the Dealer Guide and Official Rules! Damn have to print that out for some of the more obscure rulings (and once a not so obscure ruling) -not at 888PL games, but I have wished a few times I have had a 'rulebook' at another venue, they can argue against the 888PL rules but good luck if they disagree with a WSOP ruling!

OK the Bracelets: Bit hard to miss all those diamonds Scott
But when i woke up this morning I did some searching an found a wiki page dedicated just to the bracelets themselves.... Seems they change around the exact composition: apparently Hachem's is made of Platinum, and Jamie Gold's is composite White/Yellow Gold and also has Rubys and Sapphires as well as the diamonds! And the 07 edition made only of white gold and diamonds.
They show pics of the '05 '06 and '07 bracelets, and the '07 one is downright ugly compared to the previous 2... :?
Still cant understand why they wouldnt use Platinum every year though?

Seeing them list Hellmuth on top with 11 bracelets, reminded me of an interview with Negreanu I saw recently where he talks about the race to be 1st to 15 with Ivey and apparently Hellmuth thinks he is gonna beat him... GL Phil! You ain't got a prayer...
And I would still lay money on Ivey winning a ME, although if the FT's play out like '09 he may have to get very lucky once or twice!
Still scratchin my head over that FT...

:D after the 24 hour cash game idea, maybe the next home game somebody has could be a tourney with wsop structure. That would be fun. Might need two days though, but that would suit our houseboat idea if that ever gets off the ground.

Mischoosing a search term, while embarassing, doesn't alter one's ability to actually get more relevant and less overall hits on a particular search... But yeah it helps to get the terms right, and honestly the word structure didnt come to mind at the time, I was using 'levels' or 'blind levels'. A bit silly yeah, but no one is perfect?

Another brilliantly constructive post maccatak, bravo...
Although the idea about running the same structure is pretty good, yeah. Perhaps reduce the stacksizes though?

Thanks Caleb, I watched on on youtube...

I might still bring down a usb memory stick though as I kinda want to watch it again, especially if you have it all in 1 file. Just want to make sure all those preflop shoves really happened or if I was just drunk when I watched it...

How much data is it?
