Re: Semi Final railing
Thanks everyone.
The blinds were 100,000/200,000 with 20,000 ante
Stacks were about even (2mil+) except Patrick had a few more. I think the heads up battle went for 20-30 mins or something like that. We had a couple of shows downs that meant counting a lot of chips.
Over all it was a good win for Patrick and a good second for me
One day I'll pop my cherry and win a tourney.

We'll get there!
Now that looks Pretty!!
Nice work Pete on that second mate, you dodged those early bullets with style!!
Good heads up too, it could have gone either way, about even stacks for the final hand so if your K's held up, you win.....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

It must have been the Mistress Poker hat that made the difference

Re: Semi Final railing
Congrats to Pete for finishing 2nd well done, good to see you were able to recover from a couple of tough beats just before the final 32, including one from me
I managed to finish 18th and got $175 which i was pleased with.
The worst beat i saw happened when it was my deal
Blinds were 30k/15k with 3k antes. The cash bubble had just burst and there was 28-29 players left.
UTG folds, Connie raises to 60k, everyone fold to BB who annouces he is going all in blind cause he has made the money and is happy to go home. Chip count puts him on 126k which is about 60% of Connie's stack. After a few minutes of thinking she calls and shows;
BB rolls over
I run out the board which changes nothing until the river
Apart from BB, no one playing or watching is impressed.
What makes it worse is BB went on to win the semi final...
There is no justice
