The craziest couple of hands I have ever been in was I got dealt [Kh][Kd] then [Kh][Kd] then [Kh][Kd] I couldn't believe my luck, I flopped a set on 2 of them, and one of them became quads on the river, it was so awesome.

Go for it Ben.... I had a 'discussion' with a guy one night that said the odds are still the same no matter what the hand was before.

the odds dont change for each individual hand, it is still 1 in 221 for kings (ignoring suits)

but you can work out what the odds are of getting them 3 times in a row.

Yes the odds of getting two red kings in a particular hand won't change, but getting them three times in a row means the chances will be cubed.

I would think the odds of that are the same as any three (predetermined) hands.

So saying what are the odds af me getting [kd] [kh], [kd] [kh] ,[kd] [kh] in three hands...
Is the same as saying what are the odds of me getting [kd] [kh], [8c] [9s], [jh] [4c] in the space of three hands.

Three lots of red kings just looks cool.

Getting dealt 2 red kings three times in a row.

2/52 x 1/51 = 1/1326 (this is the probability of getting dealt two red kings once)

Getting dealt your hand three times in a row

1/1326 x 1/1326 x 1/1326 = 1/239,125,536

So its one in 239 million, 125 thousand, 536.

Or a 0.00000042% chance.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.
