Hey Everyone,
I Used to love playing at the seaford hotel (thurs/sun)
But as of two weeks ago they started making us wear blue wrist bands to play, myself and others are really anoyed at this it makes us feel like we are outsiders to every other person in the venue, Doe's anyone else agree?
i have played there since game one at the venue and made it to the state finals last season knocked out just before the regroup but thats life....
Any thought's on our situation would help, apart from the wrist bands the seaford is the best place in the south to play poker, other than the fact the best host Sean has been taken away from our venue.
If you agree let them know by posting here and letting them know!
as well as e-mailing garth@npl.com.au and the seaford hotel at info@seafordhotel.com.au
cheers....

Re: Seaford Hotel
Hey Kylie, any chance we could get you to do a bit of a review (be diplomatic of anything you're not happy with) of the Seaford and take some piccies and post them here?
Or anyone else that goes there can do it. I'd do it but that's starting to be a bit of a drive

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Kylie.....
The blue wrist bands are crap! I think it's bad enough that I copped a bad beat from Trev let alone have to wear a blue wrist band whilst doing it!!!
I haven't played much at the Seaford this season.... Need to catch up with all the crew down there again sometime soon.... I think the trick with the wrist bands is to put them in your pocket and only pull it out when you buy a drink... Wearing it on your wrist is just so wrong!

Re: Seaford Hotel
Hey all,
Firstly you have to wear the wrist band at all times when playing i have been told by the bar staff.
Secondely i will try and take some photo's and post some of the thing's the seaford specials on here by friday next week, i have been advised on why we have to wear the wrist bands by the staff is that for example iam there with my friends and we are buying rounds i can only get stamps for the drinks i consume and not for what i actually buy this is now really unfair as they are getting greedy. so if i spend $35 on a round of drinks i only get the stamp for what i drink not for what i spend!
We have also started a petition that is being passed around to all the players to sign about the wrist bands and another one to do with the best T/D we have had down there to come back Sean has been treated unfairly and it's not fair on all involved.
also love this site it has let all of us get to see what other people think and what other venues are offering
Love ya all K

Hay all,
Hi Kylie thankyou and all the guy's and girl's at the seaford for your support, I don't know what iam allowed to say on this subject but will say this, I agree about the wrist bands and that it doe's seclude the players from the rest of the people at the venue.
With me coming back i hope i will be back there over the next couple of week's.
The seaford is the best venue in the south to play poker they offer some great prizes for first is $100, plus pleanty of promo specials each week and the bar staff are great and easy on the eye's too.
I will try snd pop in there next week to say hello to every one and say thanks to all for their support.
