Correct Jamo. We may be loyal to 888pl but if a persons "local" changes their allegiances from 888pl to NPL how many would stop playing there and find another 888pl venue?... Not me, coz travelling between different venues is what I do, but there are many who only play at their "local" & may continue to play their regardless of which company runs it.

Also, I don't believe the market is currently big enough in SA to support another league. Sure bring in another league if they are going to work hard at attracting new players to poker, but they are just going to buy an existing data base and try to pinch players.

No such thing as loyalty to a poker providing company.

The fact is that players are going to find a balance between convenience and perceived value. At the moment its 888pl ahead by a fair margin but much work will have to be done to remain that way.

IMO

I can agree and disagree with this post, but I do like it a lot.

No need to beg mate. Differing opinions are free.

Look at it this way. Say a poker provider was established that was exactly the same as 888pl but all prize monies were double that on offer at 888pl.

Would you remain "loyal" or go for the bigger money?

No offence to anyone at 888pl, it is currently the best available.
