G,day

funny thing just got e-mail from pacific poker , says i didn,t play a game from start of season till the 15th Jan,
Why is it that my score board only shows from the 23 Jan ?
I played from the start of this season 4 Jan. & yet many of my results still do not match , or are not shown
i.e i finish 12th it says 13th on 888pl scoreboard , or 2nd it says 8th .

Surely this has to be fixed as with a lot of other players who,s scores are out of whack .
Is this season going to be a write off ?

as heard on The Rail.com.au
+ a Vic who came 5th on the S.A, leader board season 1,. 2011 with only 12 games there. lol.

No, I have explained previously what has happened but many players have duplicated accounts in our systems, a lot of these players have registered via the website in the early days and then gone to a venue and registered there as well. This has created two accounts in our systems.

And as is the case a small minority have had their in venue game points attributed to one of these accounts and then there online games attributed to their other duplicate account.

We have since merged accounts to form one master account, the issue we are now faced with is moving those results to this master account from the previous cancelled account. This is the problem and why some home game results have disappeared, or cannot be found, in the system for several players.

Hi Garth ,

Cheers mate , i was a little concerned when pacific said i hadn't played any games for the start of the season .. (4th Jan - 23rd Jan) . But i now know you do have them there just not synced . Didn't know if your previous post meant that they were lost for good ..

Any chance i can obtain my results from you guys so i can see where i am , in real terms .

No probs if i cant tho !

Keep up the good work mate ;) I can imagine you are off ya feet atm

Cheers Phil

Hey Sinitster, good to catch up with you at the Whitehorse last night.
I don't think obtaining your results is going to give you any help in determining where you are "in real terms" though, it won't give you a comparison of where you are against everyone else unless you have all their results too.....
Stupid game..... Never playing again

Which is correct the base point for a Challange game is 20 and Foundation Games 10?

Last night I played at Barmera and won.

There were 22 runners, using the spread sheet Garth presented I should get 185 points for the win (22 x 1.5 x 5 + 20) however on the published results I got 175 (22 x 1.5 x 5 + 10).

A check of my wins at other challenge games show the calculation incorrect also, whilst its only a small amount but it could effect an important result.
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

To work out a score using the points calculator on the left of the page, the easiest way is to multiply the number of runners by the appropriate multiplier (5x for away games, 3x for online cash challenge/rebuy games, no multiplier for online freerolls), and put in that number, plus your placing.

I'm in the process of making a new points calculator btw.
