I usually like to trim quotes to only the relevant bits, especially long ones, because I think its annoying when people quote an entire post to only reply to or comment on a small part of it... Not often is the entire post needed in the quote...

I just dont see how that confuses whether or not I knew of the restrictions, given i explicitly mention them in the unhighlighted portion?
What you highlighted makes sense in the context of whole paragraph.

Regarding what you wrote beneath that... the restrictions on engine usage IS to cut expenses... Why else are they restricted to 8?

In retrospect it should have been obvious to me I was underestimating the cost... FIA wouldnt restrict them unless they were a significant expense...
