It was the ace to king rebuy so most players play anything.
these games are becoming less & less enjoyable , If not becoming unplayable .
The other night some1 re-brought 12 out of 13 hands .
so how would you suggest we play against or with people like that .
Or did Stubby play it the way he should of ?

Just getting frustrated too the max
"i wish it was like the last 2 seasons not how it is now"

Thx

Playing against this type of player is quite easy and straight forward. I also have to add:

You're complaining about players shoving with air? And rebuying 12 times? I love these players, thanks for donating chips and contributing to the prize pool. I really don't see what the issue is, it sounds to me like you're a player who likes to limp and flat pre and see a lot of flops and ge frustrated when you can't do this.

HINT: If the above is true, do not ever sit at a table with me. I will three bet and four bet pre flop 80% of the time, especially in a freeroll and re buy event in the early stages.

Welcome to the true world of poker where adapting your playing style to your opponents, reading your table dynamic and playing patiently with discipline is of paramount importance.
If your table is super aggressive then you tighten up your starting hand ranges and look to get in as many chips as possible pre flop with TT+ (re raise a lot) flat more with marginal hands and look to get maximum value for flopped monsters by leading and re raising early, slow playing will work but probably won't achieve max value. If your table is passive then widen your opening hand ranges and start smashing pots a lot pre flop (3bet and 4 bet the shite out of your opponents) with more marginal hands such as 66+ and even Pocket paint hands.

And to be quite honest, you haven't supplied enough information on the hand for any real discussion, there is no action described instead we have a screen shot that shows the distribution of the pot.

I would be presuming that CC limped in here , then after the flop Stubby shoved , and CC called (as i would early in the AK with 2 pair) , then got lucky on the turn and creamed his cake on the river .

Garth is right in the aspect of it being a rebuy , the first hour of play in these games i call "Happy Hour" , i have rebought a dozen times in the first hour once . Was a good laugh seeing my AA KK AK etc get smashed several times , then win with my 22 24 77's
Funny thing was it wasn't working for me that day , i think i ended up with 1700 chips at the break :( , but i did make the FT that day .. ;)

My theory is chip up my table , build up the prize pool , then work on getting them back later .

I do think it is a different game than playing the cash games tho , as it is different again playing the freerolls also ..
When choosing between the 2 evils , I like to choose the 1 i haven't tried yet !

Chips are like burley , ya need to spread a little around to attract the fishies ...

i was bored one day, so i shoved every hand for about 45 minutes.

i think i decided to call it quits at 17 rebuys. whoever won that day would have got a nice little bonus :D

seriously though harps, its a rebuy. it happens. just about any pair type hand, or flush draw/open ender, i am looking to gamble with.

Ok this is how it went

I wa BB and checked

flop hit and gave me trips

i checked here hoping CC would bet as he had been pushing all in with any 2 cards for a while now ( he even said he was small stack tilting)

CC goes all in and I Call hoping he hasnt hit a jack

cards are turned over and I sat back and did my usual OOPSIE (haapens alot on 888 to me )

But I got my chips back off him the next hand anyway

overall it was just a funny moment between a couple of friends on the e - felt
