yes you did Des

this is an actual game played in NSW at NPL/PokerHQ venues in Sydney, perhaps you look beyond you narrow mind and actually read the the origional post.

Hows this for a Poker game

Its a shorter CBI game may just suit those patrons who go to the Pub/Club after work, have drink or two play a time limit game of poker and be home to the family at a reasonable time. Then again the player may decide to play one of the other games the venue provides some have 3 different games per night.

Narrow minded? Hmm nah

Maybe if you read your original post and turned off the CAPITALS and also added the BOLD and ENLARGED text that I've quoted then it would have made a hell of a lot more sense than your OP.

OMG that picture is phucking hirarious.

What gundog should have explained is...

There is an event in NSW called a chip-chop.
Players buy in at the start of a 1.5 hour period, and play dealers choice NLHE or PLO.
At the end of the time period, players cash out for a certain amount based on how many chips they have. i.e. twice the start stack equals twice your buy in.

certainly an interesting concept. would make for a decent side game before/after a regular event.

(and gundog make sure people can actually understand your opening posts. its amazing how people who can speak perfect english can't type for crap  its not a narrow mind, its halfwit typing)
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

It was cut and pasted directly from the web site, hence the captials.

Having never played the venue or the game I am guessing thats how it works.

The OP actually says as much as I know, but then again I suppose I should have rewritten it saying " what do you think of a dealers choice game of omaha and holdem with a time limit of 1.5 hours, and it cost you $35-55 to play and it has rebuys"

Probably need more info about.

Is it SNG? 3 Table MTT? 5 Table MTT?
Uber Turbo?
Play to a winner? Or count chips at the end of the 90 minutes?

1.5 hours is still a bit long to be run at lunch. I guess. Personally I get 30 mins... but most get an hour or so.

Self dealer would make it really difficult. Imagine if you get some really slow dealers.

Probably just as easy to do 10 x $5 flips over lunch with a mate.

Perhaps I will have more of an idea after Easter as I will be in Sydney and most likely seek out a PokerHQ venue.
