Haylee Helped by the Ladies
Haylee Allen calls the all in bet of Brad McCabe. Haylee holding the [qc qs] vs Brads [Ah 6h] The board ran out 6d 5h kc jd 9h] With the Ladies holding for Haylee.
Brad McCabe is eliminated in 27th Position.
Unlucky Ulrick
Our last Queensland player has just been eliminated.
Sue-Ann Ulrick was called by both Leigh Trudgeon and Damian Dekker. Going to the showdown Leigh Trudgeons A5 was good enough to beat Sue-Ann QJ on the board of 9 4 2 6 4.
Sue-Ann is eliminated in 26th spot.
Tales from the Felt
Sue-Ann Ulrick is from the Sunshine State and has come down to Participate in the 888pl Grand Final. With the news that events from 888pl will be starting in Queensland in April, we are hoping to see a lot more players coming down from Queensland to take part in this event.
Hopefully with NSW on board. The State of Origin matches might begin to Rival the AFL's old State of Origin Match ups. SA vs VIC, QLD vs NSW. Definitely excited to seeing some of those matches.

Dashing Darren
Darren Billinger has been eliminated. Not too certain on the specifics but is our 25th Finisher in the 888pl Grand Final.
old man Swanky Update
For the forumer's Daryle Westley stack is slowly dwindling. He has been fairly quiet, and i am assuming he is trying to find a good psot to get his money in. Hopefully before his stack is too short to do anything.....

Mistress Poker smiles on Westley
In an amazing hand old-man daryl Westley puts his tournament life on the line with an attempted blind steal with [10s 2s] he was called quickly out of the big blind by Leigh Trudgeon with [10h 10c]. Being a massive dog in the hand.
old-man daryl sees some hope with the [7s qh 2s] flop. When the turn drops the [2c] the gasps of shock from the crowd are quite loud. the meaningless [4s] drops to give old-man daryl the pot. and Leigh one hell of a bad beat story.
Garth wanted me to make mention that when Bennymacca reads this about the 2, he will most likely jump off his chair. He sealed the last NPL state final with a 2 that also dropped on the turn and is good friends (i think) with old-man daryl.

Power turned off
Shaun Power pushes all in preflop with [ad 10s] and is called by Haylee Allen holding [jh 8d]. The board improves Haylee with the [8d] falling on the [5c 8d 4s] flop. The board follows with the [6s js] to eliminate Power.
Shaun finishes in 23rd position and we are now on the bubble.

Bubble Double Davids in trouble.
Taking a risk, David Lloyd pushes all in and is called by David Larcombe. The cards are table with David holding the [Jh Jd] which is ahead of the other David's [ac 10s]. Confused yet. Me too. Lloyd is holding the weaker hand.
The board brings out the [js ad 9d] giving Larcombe a good lead in the hand. The board bricks out with the [2s ks] and David Larcombe doubles up to over 100k whilst David Lloyd is in trouble with approximately 10k left.
