Macca, I think you are getting the GF confused with the Semi's. You can still qualify for the Semi's the same as always with top 5 leaderboard placings, and then qualify for the GF with top 6 (or there abouts) finish at the Semi's....
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

What about the player that plays 9 games, qualifies for the Semi's, promptly finishes top 3 and quaifies for the GF? Are they allowed to play? :D

To clarify:

To qualify for ANY of the finals (Semi or Grand), a player must participate in 10 AWAY games to qualify.

There is no condition relating to amount of home games qualified for.

This is a condition of all entries into the finals where we give away the predominant amount of funds/prizes.

I hope that brings a bit of clarity to this issue.

Can someone please provide me with the link where it says 10 home games as well?

There you go Garth.

It does say the qualifications dont apply to the semis and gf coming in jan/feb.

So can you confirm that 10 home games will not be a part of qualification criteria for all semis and gfs in 2010?

Sorry it took so long guys.

Completely missed this thread, I don't think there are any other queries from this thread that I need to answer?

I will say that obviously we cannot please everyone with every decision or change to the competition we make. But we have only operated our new fixture of events for one week correctly, and even then there are still a few issues. I am trying to rectify them and once we are fully operational then I will seek feedback and see how it is all going for players.
