Amazing Final Table Cards at the Willaston last night

Hey guys,

this is probably some of the best cards i have seen to start a final table in a while.

I had struggled all night getting down to about 1800 at one stage before i clawed myself back up to 6.5K getting onto the final table.

On the FT, i drew the 8, so i was pretty happy that i could make top 5 from here - just needed to win any pot that i put my chips into.

TD Matt (new young guy) said before the start of the FT that he had a dealing injury, so his dealing was a bit off :mrgreen:

Lo and behold, first cards i get i look down at



YESSS!
Guy in number 7 position went all in for around 20K which i promtly called all in - blinds folded. he turns over



and my aces hold up.

this gets me up to 22K, and i am thinking that this is enough for top 3 if i play well.


second hand which i fold to an all in raise for 7K from matt.
darrell is on the BB and throws in the extra 1K.

you'll never guess what came out on the flop though

next hand, i get dealt



i am thinking sweet, this is my lucky night

mick a couple round from me pushes all in for his 6K, to which i promtly raise to 12K.

small blind folds, and darell calls.

Big pot here, 39K i am liking it.

flop comes out with no aces, so i am all in straight away for abut 10 more.

darell calls, with with his J hitting top pair,

guess what mick turns over?

!!! thats pocket aces 3 times in a row at the start of the final table!!!

i am thinnking - so theres 21K gone to mick, but i am still liking my chances against darell.

problem was, darell had clubs, which flushed on the river to take us both out!!!! thats me out in 7th - not too bad, but could have been so much better

these cards were just massive, and darrell seemed to get the best of them - he went on to win the tournament heads up against kyle - well done darrell

all in all a good night - especially since i sat down next to dillywilly for the whole night and i have got a good read on him now! - watch out sean!

Edit: darell flushed on the turn, not the river. ill give him a bit more credit that that!

does anyone know why those card pics aren't working? wierd that some are and some arent.

Actually I think it is only Ace Diamonds not working

There is no Ace Diamonds in the smilies box to choose from either.

i have that problem at home on my PC, but not on my laptop.

What browser do you use shark?

Same problem in firefox for me. So can you guys see the Ace of Diamonds?
