Absolutely guys, what sort of poker player backs down from a challenge??
Braydon, thanks for putting this issue on more reasonable terms. I recon the guys that are representing poker on a professional level deserve the right to play amongst the friends they have met through their jobs with the league, and by playing along side these friends, they have the oportunity to teach them and make the league as a whole much stronger. All of which is good. Let's make this happen...

this does happen, thats what has been the bounty for knocking out a staff member at the Checkmates games.
i am all in favour of this, i use the staff challenge at the end of last season as a guide on how it would run as a whole. having played at checkmates alot during the "staff bounty" promotion at the end of the season, i can say without a doubt that the staff were there to have a good time and play some poker like the rest of us, and by them having the "top staff prize" they all played good and proper poker.
it was a real thrill to see such fierce competition from the staff/regulars, i spoke to many players who said that it was an imporvement to their game, and improved their gameplay. i am one of those people, it has improved my game and made it much more fun to play, AND I WAS CHASING POINTS THE LAST FEW WEEKS ASWELL...
in closing, i say *BRING IT ON*

Looks like the whole 500 votes thing didn't happen..... Bring on these "better standard of poker than the average player" TC's that I keep hearing about but am yet to meet! (oooohhhhh burn)
If you ask me, Muhammed Ali in his prime was much better than anti lock brakes.

Re: 888PL TC's to return to play in regular competition
just wondering what the outcome of this was??
i know there is a tc challenge game each night which is great. however, playing a $2- 888pl game today and one of the players announced at the start of final table that he/she was staff and ended up taking the final paying spot by finishing third. no issue at all cos i finished 2nd anyway, lol, more a casual querie on what has been decided... and if i missed it somewhere else. sorry!!

On the 888pl News Section on the website, TC's are allowed to play, only online challenge games and Away Foundation freeroll's, and any TC designated events such as the online TC challenge game.
So we are back to play. Once the profiles are listed on the website you can start checking us out. Still have to put mine up need a good photo. So a seedy one from the day after a good friends will do it. LOL.
