New 888pl Website is UP!!!

What do the ID cards/numbers have to do with playing Home games?

Hi there David Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you too M8. In relation to being the same addy, I clicked on my link and it came up with something like website is no longer available. So I used the Google one and surprise, there it was.

Maybe I was thinking along the lines of when I log into the 888PL site to check my results of both "Home & Away" games the ID would be relevant!!!!!!!!!!!

But Bob, what results? As of yesterday (and even today) no 888PL results will be loaded. Since no games have been played.

Fair enough, I understand you are being proactive in getting your details though.

So, you agree I need to have my number so as to check my future results, yes? Is there any reason why I/we should or shouldn't register online now as a new player seeing we will all be new 888PL players David?

Don't get me wrong I'm not looking for an arguement just some answers to my concerns. As you know I'm not the best at this stuff even when I'm at my best LOL.

Not necessarily a number, just a login. If the login is matched to your online name, it will show results.
You could sign up now, link that to your online name, and it will show your results. ie, nothing.

I did say I'm somewhat dumb at this sort of stuff David and I appreciate your patience with me. But, I just looked at the new registration page and and if I were to complete it now there isn't anything relating to being able to link my online name.

Do I need to go elsewhere for that?

And finally, do you have your new ID as YET if so, how, when or where did you get it from??

You need to Register and Login to view full Player Scoreboards, contribute to Polls, and view and update your Personal Details. Register now if you're not yet a member.

Bob, I'm not undermining your attempts to get answer, really I'm not.

My point is that, the new website is just new. No-one has received a new ID (as far as I am aware) so you won't be able to contribute to much.

I think we are going around in circles. You want an ID, and the only way I see that happening, is by going to your venue (and I assume the Wheaty tomorrow) and getting your new card.

If you aren't heading into a venue soon, then by all means do the online version.

All I was trying to say was "It'll all come out in the wash". Eventually, you will be able to do it. I think what I am saying is that the importance of this isn't urgent on Day 1 of the new season.

Website looks great. Few minor things I noticed that could be improved like not listing the years prior to 2010 in the search for away game function. I am sure there are bigger issues to resolve as is always the case.

i liked the old calendar so you could click ahead and see which venues are on which nights. that seems to be missing from the new site. only a list of the current days' venues
