I played like 3 games for Camden Beach C.C around 5-6 years ago. One game was down your way.

I knew one the captains from there, tripper he was!
I think all he bowled was right around the wicket...

anyway, we got smashed, couldn't defend 257 :x one of there batsmen made 120, and we had him plumb lbw on about 60odd... :x :x :x :x , that lower grade cricket for you...

I did take a catch at 1st Slip though, and had another half chance as well. Bring on 2010, only need 2 more matches for 150 for my club!. Hopefully I'll start making runs again!,

we played a 20-20 game on the weekend.

our batting was going ok, but one of our players that usually gets out playing stupid shots decided that he would block every ball for about 5 overs. i got a first baller coming in with an over to go, just took a swing. we only made 92 in the end.

we bowled awesomely though, i took 2-15 from my 3 overs, but had 2 dropped catches in that as well :(

our normal keeper was playing in the a grade this week, so our captain took the gloves for the first time in about 3 years. in the third to last over, he dropped an absolute dolly from my bowling, and then that guy hit a six in the next over, meaning they only needed 5 from the last over. if he had caught that, we prolly would have won the game.

oh well, thats cricket i guess.

im liking my form with the ball though, 6-57 in the last 2 weeks, and 3 dropped catches to boot.

Waikerie Ramco Cricket club report

In a stunning turn of events both the waikerie ramco teams had ties on the weekend

and get this for the same score

Waikerie ramco A grade - 107 vs Monash 107

Waikerie ramco B grade- 107 vs Wunka 107

Weird Huh ?

The a grade was a 20 20 game and suposably needed 1 run off the last ball, and couldnt even do that, bloody slackers.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

play in the same association as benny the cunt mac, but for my old home town of kapunda. also played a 2020 on the weekend, which i scored 54 off 57 balls, and took 2/27 off my 4 overs (as a spinner, i am quite pleased with that!)

unfortunately my "heroics" were in vain as we went down to angaston by around 15 runs :(

I play in the same association as Des and
Shadz for Morpettville Park CC. Haven't played at all this year coz i work every training day.

I hold 2 club records:
Fastest 100: 53 balls (9x6s 11x4s). Made 112 opening and the side declared at 5/220 after 23 overs.
Same innings: 49 runs off one over. 5 no-balls really helped. I was the non-striker for the first 2 balls as well!

that's north haven for you then....

We have 54 players for 4 sides, it's hard to justify giving me a game without training even once this year.
