we lost the toss, and the other team made 5/258 off their 65 overs. i also got a catch dropped off my bowling, and about 10 runs through the vacant third slip area, for figures of 8 overs, 0/32

was a long day.

The team i captained when i played, last weekend got smacked for 2/429 off 40 overs!! Then were bowled out for 45!

4.0 RPO isn't that bad in that heat!
a wicket or two would've been nice though...

the game I umpired only finished 4 mins late and we had drinks every 10overs, and a change off innings as well,

but yes it was bloody hot, especially in black pants!

opened the batting and only made 1... skied trying to drive.
anyway our side where 2/1, then 7/82 and we ended up making 257... our team had an 8th wkt partnership of 146

I am new to cricket, playing 2nd season, sitting first in batting table and first in championship player.... brag, lol.

Of to A-grade districts next year, i got scouted at 30 years of age, pretty awesome!!

Year after that, play for Australia (e1 got to have a plan,

1 problem - my bowling sucks, but i gotta admit i love playing. On Monday, I smacked this girl for 24 runs in one over.....yes I am awesome.

Oh yeah, I play for North Pines, my sister asked me to play coz they needed a player.....totally awesome, lol

thought i would brag about my weekend at cricket.

took 4/42 with the ball, from 8 overs - got slapped around a bit when their number 3 was going, he got dropped from my bowling, then got out. then i RIPPED through the middle order LOL

then i came out at number 7 and made 33 not out. which was pretty good since our team only made 90, and there were only 2 other scores above 10, a 19 and a 11. LOL.

As i have mentioned previously i am the non playing president of our club. so every weekend i get several phone calls with scores of our various teams

Saturday nights phone call from my B grade side was 1 i would rather forget.

Me- Hello Krunch speaking
B grade captain- This is fucked mate
Me- Gday mate i take it you lost.
B grade captain- Thats an understatement. We were looking solid at 3 for 61
Me- thats not a bad start what happened
B grade captain- we got bowled out for 61
Me- Holy fuck !!!
B grade captain- yea 7 straight ducks to finish the game
Me- Bad luck mate, i will see you at training thursday
