do they have any other spin options but benn and gayle?

sarwan bowls offies doesn't he? dont think he bowls them too often though.

gayle is pretty handy as a spinner though.

New ball, and Ponting fresh to the crease - gotta give it to your quickest bowlers for the time being. Whichever is most likely to get some sideways movement.

stick with roach and benn, they are the WI's best bowlers at the moment.

on a side note, sarwan bowls leggies, seems to bowl them fairly regularly in tests

Yeh that's true. Once the ball loses its shine having two spinners from will restrict scoring and build the pressure. The pace bowlers do give Aus the chance to get the scoreboard ticking over without much effort.

I almost want the Windies to win - how good would the Perth test be with the series tied? Get home from work to watch the final session each day of a test that actually means something!

So at lunch on day 5, Australia require a further 268 runs, with 61 overs remaining. Nine wickets still in the shed.

That equates to a required run rate of 4.93 per over ... this could be a very exciting final two sessions.

if that gets up to 5.5 an over, do you think they would promote haddin up the order? mitchell johnson?

hussey, clarke and north aren't the biggest shotmakers around.
