thats pretty sick, but i 3bet pre there with JJ every single time.

put him to a tough decision with AQ.

post flop, the hand kinda played itself, you just got unlucky.

Its prolly not a great spot to 3 bet, cause we are pretty deep and if i 3 bet and get jammed, we have to fold. i was solely playing for set value there but yeah, i dont ususally posts beats but this was the worse on i have had in a long time.

i think that playing solely for set value with JJ is quite nitty (not meant to be derogatory), but i guess its up to each person's individual style.

i am quite happy with 3bet/folding JJ when we are this deep. i doubt that people with 40+ BB are going to be mucking around with worse.

True dat.

So many times today had the nuts on turn and it sucked on the river!

At least my NLHE game is back on track. very slow progress though.

Down over $1K on stars playing $200 PLO and NLHE as well as some tournaments.
Down over $1500 on 888 playing $100 PLO.

I love PLO but variance hates me enough in a standard non action game! LOL.

So not the best past two weeks!

Friday I cleaned up with plo, Saturday morning started *very* well, then I hit a massive down swing. Turn nuts. The nuts you have when you're not going to have them on the river.

meh.

I'm really enjoying the switch plo cash games tho - thinking of majorly switching from turbo SnG's to PLO25 and just bankrolling myself a couple of hundred to get it started. then actually sticking to proper BRM rules. I'm thinking with a proper roll, PLO could be very profitable.

edit: the swings are awesome tho, such a rush :D

Reads on player are LLLLLLLLLAG, any A is good enough for a 5xPOT raise, weilding CL reasonably well, but often handing over large chunks for no good reason. Had notes to this effect.

And in keeping with my resolution to play more within my BRM zone - no rebuys, 1xAdd on. We had been bickering at each other which also hurt for this suckout.
