I feel like I'm part of an apocalyptic movie whilst driving in to work of a morning these days - constantly hearing the word "catastrophic" during the weather report is slightly disturbing!

yes , a little silly isn't it ... catastrophic should be when there is a fire etc ... 
When choosing between the 2 evils , I like to choose the 1 i haven't tried yet !
Chips are like burley , ya need to spread a little around to attract the fishies ...

the point is, to prepare everyone in case there is a fire.
i am pretty sure that schools in fire danger areas close down on catastrophic fire danger days.
the fire warning level is above and beyond "extreme" and it was put in place as a response to black saturday. once the fire has started, it might be too late

apparently it was 47 up north yesderday - looks like its only going to be 43/44 up there today as well, i suppose the thunder will hit there a little earlier than down here

It was 40.2 deg at 1.00pm...
looks like we will hit the 43deg forcasted.
I'm glad I done my food shopping for the week at 8.00am this morning
It's even 35.8 at Kuitpo. Hope all the known pyro's are locked up today.
