as far as i am aware, there is no weather forcast for waikerie, so they would be estimating it from renmark or somewhere else.

weather.com.au always seems to overestimate as well i think

there was a fire last week in freeling, static electricity from a header. thankfully it stopped about 20m short of the house

not sure about the static electricity thing benny the cunt

i have personal experience in this area- im not saying its not

possible but its more likely started by a Bearing off the machine ( when a bearing goes it drops small pieces of very small super hot metal into the stubble), this i know for sure because it happened to me on my property years ago.

I likened Jan/Feb's heatwave to being smacked in the face with an industrial sized oven. I don't think this one is as bad but I won't be suprised if we have another one like Jan/Feb!

I walked to the gym at 6am this morning it was already 30 degrees and the wind was just terrible. It instantly reminded me of Black Saturday.

I don't mind hot weather, but days of it without a break does my head in. Not that I can complain, all you guys in SA have had higher temps than Vic! I hope everyone in SA manages to stay cool today!
