Was this a bubble? How many did they pay?
If you ask me, Muhammed Ali in his prime was much better than anti lock brakes.

I was in the top 45 heading into day 2. The guy who shipped it went it with fewer chips than I did. I can only wonder what could've been had I known then what I know about poker today...

well you have a lot more experience in near-bubble play in big tourneys than most of us i am guessing.

this means you will be more confident the next time it arises.

I think it is only a matter of time before you cash big. You have the skill it is just a matter of having the poker gods on your side one time.

get dealt A2 off suit 1st to act so I raise to $10!
fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, sb calls!

flop comes down as 2, 3, 4 rainbow...

I check, he bets $15, I raise to $30 thinking he on str8 draw!
he puts me all-in, so I call my remaining chips cause I'm pot committed, thinking at worst I can get a chop pot...

he rolls 5,6 off, I go oh I think I'm going home...
anyway

turn comes down as a 2, making me set, which didn't really help at the time,

river comes down an Ace which makes the Full House 2 full of aces!,

I take down a $130 pot...

Numbers don't add up but nice hits!

rough numbers I might add, happened a while back now,
so please forgive me!

ONLINE
Biggest Tournament Cash: USD$1800+ (1/1080, Stars $11 MTT)
Biggest cash game hand: ~$700 PLO hand playing .50/$1 (straight flush v boat v boat)
Biggest winning session: ~$1450, 4-tabling PLO .50/$1 over 4-5 hours
Biggest losing session: Usually shut down and break things after dropping 2BI, so no more than $200-300

LIVE
Tournament cashes:
$2500 ($2k + $500 GF ticket) - 4/330 @ 888PL Foundation semi-final
$1500 - 4/539 @ NPL State Final
$540 - 3/37 @ SkyCity Saturday $150 Deepstack bounty event ($470 + 3x$25 bounties)
$300 - 7/90 @ NPL $50 Deepstack invitational

Interesting live exits:

NPL State Final @ Arkaba: Level 3, Money goes in on a flop of 8 5 4 rainbow, 88 vs Villain's KK. Turn K.

NPL State Final @ Port Club - Final 4, run 88 on the button into SB's AA.

Berri Deepstack 2: 15/191, knocked out an hour into day 2 when my 8 high flush is crushed by Tim Bredl's 9 high flush.

888PL Foundation semi-final: Final 4 - After some pre-flop action, I open from the SB for 190k on a 6 7 8 board, with 99. Get a reasonably quick call from villain for his remaining ~180k. He rolls A7, turns the 7. I'm left SS and bust the next hand.

888PL Grand Final: Day 2, draw the feature table, but less than a dozen hands in, disaster. I open for 16.5K from the cut-off (2k/4k/500) with AA. Button folds, SB calls, BB mucks. Flop comes down Q 9 4 rainbow. Villain leads for 20k, I re-pop it to 72k all-in. He snap calls, and rolls 88. Turn 8. Brick river. Hmmm.

Just think the only that has prevented you from shipping one of these is a bad beat - your time will come.
