you used to hate omaha until you ran like god and took a 400BB pot off me in a home game :D

That doesn't sound like AK at all. Surely he was ahead the whole way? :?

probably not the spot for it but

im trying to improve my overall poker with some $1 9 person HORSE games on tilt.

yesterday while playing FL omaha HL i had a nice hand

[qsqdqcks]

i was a bit grumpy about the 3 queens then the flop

[kdkhqh]

cant remember the rest but i manged to get a few raises in and took a nice pot.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Would have scooped the pot as well - no low possible after that flop

Can someone explain to me really briefly what a Hi and Lo hand is? I have no eye deer regarding this game.

for the low hand, you need 5 cards 8 or lower to qualify. in some games Aces are high or low, in some games strictly hi.

in omaha h/l, aces are both, so the nut low hand is A2345. (straights and flushes dont count toward the lo hand)

they qualify by counting down from your highest card. i.e 34567 beats A2348.

you need to have 5 cards lower than an 8 otherwise the hi pot scoops.

oh and krunchie, thats a horrible hi/lo hand, i probably would have mucked that preflop, although muzz and scott are the omaha gurus here, they would know better than me.

yep i agree mate, as i said i was pretty grumpy about the 3 queens, seems such a shame to have such pretty cards and not use them.

but this was limit and so it was costing me a blind to have a look at the flop, to be honest i was more interested in the KQ of spades than anything.
I do like to see the flop in omaha as cheap and as often as i can ( when the cards are interesting) and then see what eventuates.
