I've just decided that my Nemesis is Dave.
On several occasions we've both had a hand, I've been well in front and he just absolutely oblitterates me. Yup. Dave is now my nemesis.

Last night when playing, everytime that I ended up in a pot with another player he would suck out and I would lose a heap of chips. After this happening all night I started avoiding him and he had a huge advantage over me. He isn't even a good player because he would then distribute his winnings amongst the other players until his next suckout.
So can you fight luck or do you ride it out til some-one else knocks them out?
Was it the donkey on Sunday nite at Roulettes????????????

Ooooh.... you know, I did actually - a quick one through Google.
Next time I'll make sure not to place my trust in "the Internet" so heavily.

Re: Your Nemesis
I'm just thinking out loud here but considering:
"Nemesis" was originally a proper name, and I have no reason to believe it was a matter of a root "nemes" plus an inflected ending "is".
So therefore shouldn't the plural be nemesii?
I love the English language so many rules to flaunt! Or just plain ignore.
