in that last hand, 3bet more, bet more on the flop.

this way, you commit him to the hand on the turn, and he has to call. in this example, he has given you all his chips just because he spazzed out. that won't happen against better opponents.

secondly, there are both straight draws and flush draws in his range, and you haven't charged either here.

imho, you could have played this hand a lot better.

that last one is horrible play by him. but once again, in my opinion, you have turned your hand face up really. i think your 3bet on the flop should have been to around 2.20-2.50, it makes it easier to get it all in if he re-raises or on later streets if he just flats.

I don't know, I thought the limp was funnier than anything.

I am not really a cash game person. I have only really started playing a lot recently so I appreciate the advice benny the cunt.

The reason I am betting light on the flop with sets is in the hope that they will come over me. Ok, few questions for you benny the cunt and any others who may care to shed some light on the topic:

Limit (.05/.1) 6-max

How do you play pocker pairs from 2-10?
How big do you bet when opening? At the moment I am raising anywhere between a min raise for 22-44 and to .30 for 66-88 and .40 for all others.
If the you have a bet to .40?
If you have a bet to .40 and more than one caller?

AQ/AJ/AK - I generally open to .40. What if someone has already bet .40?

AA/KK/QQ - How are we playing these?

Also what do we 4-bet to? Say if I have a raise to .30, I reraise to .90 If I have a raise of .4 I reraise to $1

I'm not the best person to ask but I'd almost always be opening for the same amount unless I had a reason to try something else.
We've how about links I would like to know I walk the line scrunches line at how the client Lawrence etc. etc.

People say that to me a lot. A specific amount that you open to each time disguises the hand. There's a good dicussion of this in Harrington I think. He uses his watch to randomise his bet amounts for different hands - but he does have differing opening ranges for differing hands.

Say I have AK in the SB and it folds to me. I would usually raise to .40, but because I wan't action I may raise to .35 or .3 so that he may come along rather than ending action here. Is there a fundamental problem with this that I am missing? Sure it gives him a chance to draw out on you but you go in as favourite against most hands.

I open to 4x pretty much from anywhere, unless its BvB when I go 3x most of the time.

My 3b size ranges from 1.1-1.5. More if there are limpers/cold callers.

AJ/AQ/AK/AA/KK/QQ I 3b/cc depending on opponent.

I think at these stakes I'd be opening and betting slightly more since I find the play to be looser, so when you do hit your hand, the pot is worth it. At the micro stakes I think they'll generally call lighter.
