Sure, but what do they think I am trying to acheive?
Hack their 888 accounts?
Only version available now also has the source script included in ithe archive. So anyone can download AHK themselves (<2Mb) and just run the script...
Sorry, this just seems overkill, when someone writes a smalll script (not program) that solves a problem a few people have mentioned on this forum, and posts it for download. Maybe because the script is compilable into an executable, I don't know?
And I am really stumped why it doesnt work for you or benny the cunt. I just downloaded the version off the forum, and it worked 3/3 times so far??? Edit: also unregister worked, for the 5:15 $2.20 MTT
May be a XP/Vista thing, but AHK is supposed to be compatible with both, and its only sending mouse clicks and one keystroke of Enter anyway?
Can you watch it attempt to register you and let me know exactly where it fails please?

Re: Tournament Registration Timing Problem Solved
When I tried it nothing happened.. not that I know what was supposed to happen?
Does it run by the 888 clock, or my clock? Cos I think they are 3 minutes apart (my clock slower) and I set it by my clock, and I was doing it for the next minute (by my clock)..

I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become

Re: Tournament Registration Timing Problem Solved
Assuming you are using the last version.
Yes, you use your local clock time.
For the 5:15 (SA time) tourney I entered:
Start time 5:15 pm and Preregister by 0:16.
Opened the tournament lobby (minimized is ok).
It successfully registered me at 4:59pm and unregistered me at 5:05...
Edit: What is supposed to happen, is the tournament lobby is activated (brought to the front if it isnt already) and then the script performs the mouse clicks neccessary to register you, 10 seconds between actions...
Same thing for unregistering...
Edit: do not click the confirm dialog untiul it has registered you...

Sorry Bacon, but I have to ask...
You didnt read the Instruction file read in the last version did you?
I only say this because it answer's your question of which time to use (being local)

Yeah... if someone you don't even know says they're not that keen to trust you, it's not really worth worrying about
Claims of hacking and being an uber l33t programmer aren't exactly conducive to high levels of trust, as bacon pointed out.
Random internet guy claiming anything at all usually = complete bulldust.
I'm not directly accusing anyone of anything here though.

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: Tournament Registration Timing Problem Solved
The only claim you say I made that I actually did, was hacking, and if you remember the post I said I was only involved in doing so to companies who had full knowledge of what I was doing. They had hired the company I worked for specifically to find any security leaks in their system. I am still an honest person, and don't intend on doing anything illegal, and basically Pete, what you are saying, is that to your mind there is atleast a possiblility I may be doing so, and that is a valid concern hence you contributing it to this thread.
Sorry, but over such a simple thing, you implying I might do something not only illegal but unethical, I don't take too well to.
You have the right to feel about it anyway wou see fit, but to post casting suspicion isnt right, and I don't understand why you don't see I could possibly be offended by it?

Yes, and as I said above, for you to imply that I would use any of that knowledge in an illegal and unethical was is, quite frankly, offensive...
