How's the hammy Steve?
Rumour has it that you pulled it while celbrating with yourself in the privacy of your own home
Garth, if you're bored go and tease Nathan - he's bound to deserve it.

Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

Re: World Football Thread
Australia 3 - 0 Ireland
Magnificant game by the Aussies. I didn't get up at 4am this morning to watch it, but decided to run the gauntlet of getting up, not watching Fox Sports News over breakfast (which is hard i tell you), going to work and hoping nobody else gave a crap so i could come home and watch the replay live. I even avoided this thread this morning (which isnt really that hard to do) in case someone posted the score.
Australia started without some first team regulars (moore, culina, neil, grella, valeri, kennedy) but still had a good side with scotty Mac starting up front in a 4-2-3-1 with a line of kewell, cahill and bresciano behind him. wilshire and jedinak started in midfield and rhys williams started at right back.
Timmy cahill got 2 great goals in the first half in a game that we dominated. This was (from what i could tell) a near full strength Ireland side also with Robbie Keane, Damian Duff, Shay Given and that young McGeady kid who plays for celtic with scotty mac i think. We pretty much outplayed them and had shed-loads of the ball in midfield.
The highlight of the game however was left back David Carney's cracked of a 30m goal in injury time. Even better than the one he scored against Ghana couple of years ago.
Anyway great performance from the guys, proving we probably deserve our number 16 ranking in the world at the moment.
