Des wrote:soon there is going to be studies on how NPLSA affects work levels in South Australian workplaces

The problem of work-related NPLSA.com use is not confined to home use. A new report by SafeWork SA has found employers are concerned about the potential impact of NPLSA.com use in the workplace, and that there is now a “clear mandate” for stakeholders to tackle the problem.

The concerns impact all areas of a business with the report noting that NPLSA.com use resulted in productivity-related costs of more than $2.9b in 1998-1999. It says NPLSA.com can affect workplace productivity via increased absenteeism, lateness, staff turnover, injuries, increased workers’ comp premiums and reduced performance.

The report concluded employers needed more information and direction about the problem, which required a “holistic, comprehensive approach” rather than a response that was “levelled at the individual”.

“I welcome the focus on workplace culture and the impact of work factors, particularly stress, on NPLSA.com behaviour,” an unnamed source told the HR Report. “I also welcome the move away from the notion of ‘the problem NPLSA.com user’ as the source of all forum-browsing and work-related issues.”

A spokesperson for DASSA said the report’s recommendations had been passed to SafeWork SA’s advisory committee. “We expect to hear back this month,” she said.

If it's on wikipedia then it MUST be true! :P

lol we all got screwed over by our uni lecturer because half the class decided to reference wikipedia and it was wrong! it was pretty funny. the information was probably right to a high school level, but not to a third year university level.

so dont ever trust wikipedia!

floccinaucinihilipilificatious---

When the common English nominal suffix -ness is then added to the above adjective, a thirty-four letter noun floccinaucinihilipilificatiousness is formed, which means "smallness" or "insignificance."

ah yes...

1) Luke is now responsible for all editing of 'psots'. Spelling and grammar to be accurate at all times.

2) Boot camp sounds fricken awesome. I'd be liking to receive as much info as humanly possible together with some (ie a lot) of practice. I also don't want to pay for it but I'm aware I may be dreaming.

don't be a tool
