And if that's so, what are the benefit of having a home score baord?

No benefit what so ever.

It's a score board that was created with the possibility of future use. Just for bragging rights right now.

Ok thanks for your reply Garth. I'll brag a little for making top 50 LOL

What if the Top 50 were to buyin for $100 makes it an extra $5k to build the GF pot. :)

Why should the Top 50 get a buy-in for 20% of face value?? Just cos you have the time to play heaps of online games?

Home scoreboard is actually the average of your best 15 so is a good indicator of what the final dream team scorebaord will look like once everyone gets their 10 games in... I need to get cracking on this...

The thread actually refers to "Foundation Semi Final & Challenge Semi Final Events" Bacon and that's what I was refering too.

I should have been a little more clearer in my post as I didn't think anyone would read it as me trying to get a 20% buyin, as that would be so stupid. ;)

Obviously all the funds are going towards the prize pool and I thought another $5k would certainly help.

Aaron refered to the short fall of the prize money in another post to Garth. Regarding the maximum numbers that can qualify it will be way short of the suggested $100k prize pool.

I personally didn't get a chance to play any of the rebuy games such as at the PAFC Werina etc, due to family commitments.

But I'm sure others like you and myself who have been playing not only the 888PL cash and freeroll games and are in that top 50 field and also plaing our away games would probably pay a $100 to make the numbers.

It was just a thought nothing set in concrete M8 but thank you for your input.

But you mentioned building up the GF prize pool.

I'm probably making both Semi's from a Top 5 position at venues.

Given that the Top 3 only from the Semi's qualify for the Grand Final, there are easier ways to try and qualify for the GF.

But you mentioned building up the GF prize pool. Yeah I know but I thought you knew the following.

Yeah I see what you mean by easier ways and I'm working on the top 5 at the Wheaty. I've played 9 games there this season 6 final tables, 2 in the top 15 and only missed making the points once.

But Bob, Top 5 only qualifies you for the Semi Final.

I meant playing the monthly online qualifiers, or the rebuy Satellites (like they had at Port Club & Winstons the other week).
