Online Reregistering for 888 Tourneys Problem!!

Hey all,

My partner has just signed up to play online, but when she goes to register it tells her she is not Eligible to play? Can someone please give us a he ' ads up what the problem is?

She is a 888 member and has played live games and is also reregistered with the 888pl.com site and a member of 888.com online poker! I have tried everything, logging out and back in again but with no luck??? With mine a while ago, I just logged on and played automatically.... so I am a little confused why this is not working??

Any help will be very much appreciated, thank you!

You need to have downloaded the client from 888pl, not 888.

You also need to register your 888 online username on 888PL.com

I wasnt aware you needed to download the 888 software from 888PL.com, but that might also help... Uninstall the 888 software, and use the download link from 888PL.com to reinstall.

When you download the client from 888pl.com.au it includes a cookie which allows you to access the 888pl only games

registering your 888pl username on 888pl does nothing apart from linking your online games to your away games

fair enough, just I also had an issue with my first reg, and this is what I was suggested to do, and it worked...

Edit: what file are you meaning, cos I see nothing in my 888 installation directory that would identify me as an 888PL player, certainly nothing like a cookie?
