i didnt even know that was a rumour

bit of a suprise, couldnt really see him coming to england

especially a mid table team

well it hasnt happened yet so still a rumour, i think i wrote it like itd happened in my first post, the article is about the possibility of the move to west ham and his agent saying he thinks it will happen,

i doubt itll actually happen though, like you said i doubt he'll come to england or if he does itll be to a bigger club, but i think Zola has a big influence and that could be why he is contemplating the move to west ham

yeah im guessing the Zola factor is what starts these sort of rumours, i also heard you were looking at signing a Striker from Inter

Toni is a pretty good striker, had a shocker last year but was the bundisliga top scorer in 07/08 with close to 30 goals

yea he was injured for a fair bit last year though i think,
and the striker weve been rumoured to be interested in from Inter is Mario Balotelli, the 18 yr old Ghanian born Italian striker, he'd be an awesome signing but would cost an enormous amount, but again the main reason for the rumour was becuase of Zola,

probably not enough to bring either player to west ham, unless they could strike an unlikely loan deal, but then last year they spent bout 9 mil on a 18yr old so they must have some cash floating around,

West Ham are pretty screwed cash wise at the moment, they were looking comfortable until the credit crunch.

I'd head the Toni rumour and immediately thought it was because Zola is Italian. Wouldn't be a bad addition though if he could stay fit.
