Caleb at the Victorian Champs

On Wednesday arvo I'm putting my hectic schedule of working, playing poker and sleeping aside for a full week of playing poker and sleeping..... (well, won't sleep much if last time is anything to go by)

I'm heading to Crown for the Victorian Championships. I'm playing two events for sure, plus whatever else and I can get my hands on (read: what I'm awake for) plus as many ring games as possible. I have a fairly decent bankroll so I'm looking forward to playing hard.

Ring games I'll be mainly alternating between 2/3NL, 2/5NL and 10/20 Limit Omaha. May play some PLO or the dealer's choice game again if I'm going ok by the weekend.

The events I'm playing are:
Wed 7:10pm Event 4: Terminator No-Limit Holdem ($300+$40)
$200 to prizepool, $100 bounty. 5000 start stack, 30 min blinds, no antes.

Thu 7:10pm Event 5: No-Limit Holdem $250,000 Guarantee ($500+$50)
Day 1a & 1b Thurs & Fri. Day 1c Sat is a repecharge. Day 2 is Sun
10000 start stack. 30 min blinds Day 1, 40 min blinds day 2. Antes from level 5 onwards.

I'll be taking my laptop with me so I'll be able to update this thread daily with what's been happening so hopefully I'll have some good news to share (for those who care )

My plan is currently this:

Arrive at 3:45pm Wednesday. Play all night. My mate who I'm staying with arrives 8:30am Thursday. When he gets to Crown we'll go upstairs and sort out all our Mahogany programs and such, then get the room. As soon as it is possible to check in, I'll be crashing (head first I assume).

If that's not until the afternoon then I'll need something to do to keep me awake. Crazy Pineapple might be just the thing.
