what about having presentations interlaced with some poker playing?

that way u could learn about something, then put it into practice on the felt right then and there.


or alternatively, have a presentation, then run something like a standard NPL tourney afterwards?

Garth, if you can include in this potential seminar an explanation on pot odds so that it doesn't go in one ear and out the other, that would be super! That being said, I do actually understand the concept (i would hope so by now!), i just can't seem to retain the information and make it make sense in my head and apply it when i'm at a table.
