More people in the way for him to get a deflection off :) Good (for you guys) that Anelka and Drogba will likely play up front together.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

lampard is the gerrard of chelsea

just not as good lol

Torres thinks you guys need a Rooney type player who can hold up the ball etc

Im not making any comments on liverpool until the Xabi Alonso and Mascharano issues are sorted, they are so important for you imo

Dam straight steve

we are in real trouble without them imo.
There is still press linking Alonso and madrid surfacing everday, just wish it would get sorted
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

Yeah I wish it would get sorted as well.

Be VERY surprised if Mascherano leaves, not as surprised if Alonso leaves - but def want him to stay after the season he just had.

Having said that, he sucked the season before but he was injured fairly badly early on which never helps.

Looks like Voronin will get another go up front this season, he can score goals for sure and is an intelligent player but crikey he missed some sitters last time he was in the squad.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

This isn't good....

From the Liverpool ECHO:

XABI ALONSO’S proposed transfer to Real Madrid moved a step closer today after the Spaniard put in a written transfer request.

Looks like Wenger's done his usual in the transfer market... ie nothing :)

Mind you, they're still top 4 and they still play some of the best football going around.

From BBC's football section:

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he will not rush to spend the money raised from the sales of Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City.

Wenger has generated in the region of £40m from the transfers but has made only one summer signing so far, Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax for £10m.

"I feel we are strong enough but if we can add then we will do it," Wenger told the club's official website.

"In England, people think all problems can be sorted out by buying players."

He's right, and that problem isn't just in England.

Well Rosicky's injured again. He is so Viduka.
I'm not perfect. I'm what perfect aspires to become
