Sorry, but imo thats somethin between the two of you, not for a public forum?
I would be a tad pissed if I was Caleb...

I didn't give it to him willingly ;)

He stacked me the night before after I'd consumed one too many lemonades :(

Saturday 4am. $2/$2 at the casino.

I'm UTG with 5's I limp. Luke Pickford limps. Scott checks SB. Glyn checks BB.

Board. [ac 9s 8c].

Checks all round.

Turn. [5h]

I bet $8. Folds around to Scott who snap jams for $78. Into a $16 pot.

WTF.

Glyn folds.

I have about $150 total. I say to Scott "If you have the straight dude, good luck to you. I call."

River bricks out (a 3 I think) and Scott mucks. He reckons he had A9.

Obviously played it wrong.

So yes Scott, thanks for the buyin.

Fair enough, sounded at first read like a staking... Not a stacking LOL
Lemonades? You're a cheap drunk :)

You called and let him muck? tsk tsk Caleb :)
Or if it was allin on the turn, why weren't the cards flipped?

my understanding is that this is a cash game at the casino, i think that you dont roll your cards when all in for a cash game

but i welcome others more educated input
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

I've only played a ring game at the Cas once, but no, when all in you don't show your card until showdown. Caleb probably said he had a set and Scott mucked.

Caleb called, announced a set, and showed. I've thrown my head back and groaned, as the dealer dealt the brick river. I mucked.

Beer count to that point = 21.

Still not enough to convince you to jam A9 pre-flop though.

No you're right - I clearly played the illustrious A9 wrong.

Just like you did when you got stacked by nines :P
