you DONT want to keep someone in if you are shoving - its done as a semibluff

my opinion is that if you dont shove here, then you shouldn't have called the 3bet preflop.

if you flat call, and then he fires again on a non-spade turn, you have lost your fold equity, and you wont be getting correct odds to draw to your flush.

Fold pre is the best play.

suited connectors, folded to you on the button, 100bb deep? folding pre is a horrible play

its decision time when the BB 3bets you. (or is this when you mean fold trishan?)

i dont mind a call here either, in position against someone who has been 3betting you a lot.

Fold pre is the best play.

But we haven't :P We've called, and action is on the flop.

I really hate calling here, this guy could fire a second barrel, and then we've have to fold. If you don't want to get it in here that's fine, but re shoving seems to be the right play. As benny the cunt said, if you're calling 3b's with 98ss and you flop a flush draw, it should be going in.

I never even considered the min raise option because min raising is stupid.

Yeh when the 3 bet comes I mean. Suited connectors when its folded to you on the button is always a good hand to open with. But when he 3-bets and given his agressive style you have to decide here whether you're willing to go all the way with it. IMO there will be better spots, so fold.

yeah min raising achieves nothing really - except for allowing him to reshove and put you in another tough spot

get it in and put the pressure on him - he really is betting all of his range on that flop, and not much of his range actually hits that board.

Do we all agree that mathematically it's an easy fold. So the only reason we are calling/pushing is because he is an agressive player?

when are you talking about a fold here? please expand on your thoughts.

Post flop pot-odds and odds of making the flush don't justify a call so if you push it's really a semi-bluff or primarily because he has been agressive.

If he has a K - he is calling here and it's a coin flip (a three sided coin)

Maybe I am a bit of a nit and should start pushing here more often though...
