can we do step 10 player SNG qualifiers?

Step1 $2 qual -> 1st wins step2 ticket, 2nd $6, 3rd $4
Step2 $10 qual -> 1st wins step3 ticket, 2nd $30, 3rd $20
Step3 $50 qual -> 1st wins step4 ticket, 2nd $150, 3rd $100
Step4 $250 qual -> Top 4 get seats, 5-9 $100, 10th nothing

Just an idea.... dont flame me.

I'm doing well ($20k), I go double BB with my 77 and get 3 callers. The flop is 5,7,9 (all spades) so I go in $4k and get 2 callers. A 9 hits which gives me a FH which beats a flush - so I go all in.
And get called by someone with a 9,5 to knock me out. SERIOUSLY, who goes double BB with 9,5 non-suited from position 6?!?!?!?!

I'm assuming by double BB you mean a min raise? If yes, I wouldn't respect that either. Doesn't mean that 95 is particularly brilliant but min raising is asking for everyone to call.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

steps are a great idea, although i dont think there needs to be 4 steps

why not have winner take all steps

5 dollar step 1, into a 50 dollar step 2, similar to the current structure but just with SNGs.
maybe even 3 steps, but i think 4 is too many - not enough players to fill the SNGs

trishan wrote:Garth, why not run a GF Qualifier every two or three days instead of monthly. Run $2 satellites into a $5 satellite into a GF qualifier. Even a few SnGs might work. 888 does this well with their daily 25K tourneys.

If I think of any other ideas I will post. It'd be nice to get as close to 200 people as possible.

There tends to be several steps for that type of thing normally though.

It's not like there's 4 steps to AK's shed :)
