gundog u missed the point
the results of an individual hand are irrelevant. making correct decisions with the cards u get is important, not the result of the hand in the end.
if your aces get cracked by 27, do you say dammit i should have folded?
no because its the correct play to not fold. same can be said here.

gundog wrote:WTF results dont count BS, this is a comp where you strive to make the top 5 hopefully win the venue and ultimatly qualify for the Championship weekend.
Results as in one hand. It doesn't matter what did/would have happened, poker is all about making the correct decision, over thousands of hands. Even if both players ended up turning over AA and KK, its still the right call to make.
gundog wrote:And what would have been my position if either player turned pockets, I would have been left with either zip zero or 4000 and 1 orbit to push.
Well, you could've hit an Ace or a King and tripled. But if you miss... then you're left with 4000.
gundog wrote:If you dont play to win then what are you playing for.
Exactly. And calling here could've put you in that spot to win.

Re: Final Table at Waikerie Last Night
I dont recall asking any other question except the 1 below.
I didnt ask If I was right or wrong in the way I played the hand, I was comfortable with my decision, also knowing I folded other potential winning hands some did so didnt. When I get to final table I play to finish as high as possible except for the last game of last season and by finishing 2nd or 3rd Guaranteed winning the venue.
The spoilers were a fun bit just to show Mac and I are 50/50 heads up.
based on this info what would you have done?

42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Re: Final Table at Waikerie Last Night
Where's that poker dictionary?
Anyone got something for results orientated?
Please mate.
When we use this comment we are talking about results of the hand, not the tournament. You asked what we would of done and then you get upset when we elaborate on our answers and start a discussion.
So I should limit my answers to:
Fold pre
Raise
re raise
shove
fold
Double fist pump snap call
Double fist pump, table slam, snap shove?
Or would you prefer our point of views and discussion points on why we have responded with an action?
benny the cunt asked a sensible question above Gundog and AK helped you out. Understanding these concepts and thought processes will only make you a better player, if not by understanding basic concepts then by understanding how two of your regular opponents think.
