benny the cunt and his 'Cardinal Sin' sig....

Postby AJG » Wed Jun 17, 2009 8:13 pm

Although I entirely agree with your sig benny the cunt, I have one to add...

Buyin tourney a few nights ago, and I look down at a semi-decent A9s in the BB and a limped pot with 3 callers, so I just check....

Flop: A93r.... sweeeeet, I bet out, 2 fold one calls
Turn: 7 I lead out again and he raises me, I just call...
River: 9 - fantastic! I hit the 2nd nuts! I check cos he raised me, so Im hopin he'll bet and I can raise him, which of course he does, and I push... He instacalls and shows A3s, I laugh and turn over.....
WTF!!!????

A8!!!!! I completely misremebered my cards! (I usually try not to look at my cards again after the first one, as I respect players more who can atleast remember their current hand ha ha! this was the first time I ever made such a mistake)

Now THAT is a cardinal sin also! (not to mention damn embarassing!)

so you took down the hand with aces and 9s with an 8 kicker then?

why is he betting on that river when he just got counterfieted?

have you got the hand right?

I've seen Ondie play A4 as though it was AA and then when he looked smug as after showing his cards at showdown he hastily tried to make it look like it was a bluff that just didn't work :)
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

I've played 89s only to find it was 8c9s - my flush was only mid pair.

i have played Q6 as QQ before. if you dont pull the 6 card out from behind far enough its easy to get confused. I always make sure i check this one now.
