another thing that really annoys me is people that don't know proper etiquette, and dont bother even trying to learn it.
i still see heaps of people with dirty chip stacks (i.e big chips at the back in between other smaler chips etc), people pre-burning cards, people folding out of turn etc.
some people just dont care, but there are some people that do these things because they dont know the reason WHY they are done - there have been a few people go "oh, thats why" when i tell them why burn cards are used.
does anyone know of a good table etiquette guide that explains all of this? personally, i would like to read it as well, just in case i am not doing everything right.
there is nothing that irks me more than the dude who says whatever, its free poker man.

This pisses me off no end.
Burning a card early makes burning cards at all redundant.

Re: Etiquette Guide
Yes, preburning irks me as well.
Slowrolling, too. We had a dude (Kyle, actually
) tank on the river with a straight flush at States. He said he didn't realise until the last minute, but he c/r the turn on a Qd Jd Td 8d board, with the 9d.
Who check/raises on a 9 high flush?

Rabbiting, Burning early.
Talking about actions within a hand, if you check i check. Are you behind? Talking about your cards. Show one show all, reading the board when they are not in the hand. e.g 3 clubs someone has a flush.
Pretty much if there are cards out there, and your not in the hand. STFU.
Doing the groaning and moaning about i would have flopped straight with my 3,7 offsuit.

Re: Etiquette Guide
i had one at the main event when i was running a massive bluff with middle pair on an ace high board against a girl that was folding to any sort of aggression.
he was tanking after having about 2/3 of her stack in the middle, and i put her all in on the river.
some tool starts sprouting "come on, you have value"
usually i go fkn off when this is the case, but i realised that if i said that it would be pretty easy to work out if i was bluffing or not.
so i just said "well she is not getting value if i have a good hand is it" and gave him a massive glare.
so after that, the girl that i put the pressure on starts saying "i know you have an ace, and so do i, i am just trying to work out if my kicker is good"
in my head i was like "weeeeee!"
i responded "yeah i have an ace as well, nice read. now you just have to work out if your kicker is good"
so after a while she folded, i told her that i had AJ to her A8 and for the next 5 minutes i couldn't stop telling her how awesome a fold it was, and how i didn't think she would ever fold that, and that i thought i was gonna take her chips
so yeah sometimes bad etiquette works in your favour, but a lot of the time it doesn't
