Just thought that maybe we could extend the prizes 4 the state..
i dont think im asking 2 much.. maybe specail key rings (like we get 4 final table) but have them say top 100.. top 50 ect.. i dont think it would cost that much...
Its just that some of us.. who got good results (me 35th) and we have nothing to show 4 it.. i would of been over the moon.. if i had got a key ring what said top 50 at state??
anyways just an idea..
More prizes at state finals!!

Luke says he agrees with you and is disappointed he has nothing to show for his dismal loss of a monster chip stack so late in the tournament.

Re: More prizes at state finals!!
I want to know what happenned to the lanyards.
I heard a lot of people saying it was pretty lame there were no lanyards.
Lanyards made the players feel celebrity-like and gave them something to add to their Poker-shrine at home.
I've been to a lot of home cash games and you see people's trophies, key rings and state final/aussie millions lanyards all together like an athlete or sportsman would lay out all their trophies.
What happenned there?
Was it another slow boat from China?

We just can't make you players happy can we?
Not a bad idea but there are costs involved with doing things like this and then we set precedents.
I like the idea though, but Top 100 is a bit steep. I think top 50 at State Finals is worthwhile though.

Re: More prizes at state finals!!
as third grade as it sounds, even a certificate would be good. something to show your achievement.
At the state finals, would it work if someone was sitting at a computer, and when a person gets knocked out, then they go to this person and let them know? this would be too comlicated for the early stages of the tournaments, but for the top 100 or so, it wouldnt be too bad.
and since there are no (or minimal) prizes attached, noone is gonna care if they are written down 25th or 26th if two people get knocked out nearly the same time, but it would at least be a record of acheivement.
